Today's Outfit: VFW

Unlike diehard Vancouver fashionistas, I only managed to go to a few VFW events--the Opening Gala, A Night In Shanghai, and the Saturday shows. I spent Sunday plastered to the couch with the TV on and nodded off throughout the day, thereby missing Closing Gala due to sheer exhaustion and the thought of work on Monday. If this sounds pathetic, it's nothing compared to how I felt when Miranda told me about how she partied until 2am, schmoozing with George Stroumbolopoulos and the cast of Twilight in the VIP area.

Here's what I wore for each VFW event I attended. Enjoy!

  1. Love the layering at the bottom! I'm a fan of putting t-shirts under dresses as well.

  3. Haha Macky, that's not my wallpaper! That's actually the mural inside Wallflower Diner on South Main, which is where Miranda held her birthday party. That place is fantastic--comfort food and reasonably priced yummy cocktails, mmm.

  6. Hi Lisa-- love how you punched up basic black pieces with bright pinks. I'm inspired. You look so tiny and pretty in the first picture. I know what you mean about feeling exhausted when doing fashion week events. It takes a lot of energy to get out there. I'm happier at home in my jammies. I always have to give myself an extra push to get out there and work the events. Sigh.

I just saw it again in theaters in Japan. I know it's totally sappy and ridiculous but he is just so totally gorgeous. I loved every minute hahahahahah!

P.S. I would like to visit the NYC Topshop, but I don't know when (if ever) I will get to NYC again in the near future.
