Today's Outfit: The Accidental Romper

Here's a style trick for those of you who like the look of a romper, but aren't so sure about its "flash in the pan" trendiness or the inconvenience (i.e. having to strip down for bathroom breaks): Take a loose-fit tank top and a pair of shorts in the same colour family and tuck the tank top in. I discovered this quite by accident yesterday when I needed a casual outfit for lounging around the house, blogging, and running errands. Both separates are off-white but similar enough in tone that they work together.
  • Tank top (from Mexico)
  • Shorts (Smart Set)
  • Earrings (DESIGN + CONQUER)
  • Sandals (Sterling)

  8. Dummeow, they were $30 (marked down from $60). I just wanted simple black non-gladiator sandals and I really like this pair.

  9. Such a coincidence you posted this, because today I actually ended up wearing an accidental jumpsuit. I had black skinny jeans paired with a black tank. Didn't even realize the effect, until my friends applauded my cat woman look. Umm... ok. Love your white romper version! I think it's way more versatile than a one-piece anyway, especially when you need the bathroom ;-)
