Happy Ada Lovelace Day!

Named for a woman considered to be the first ever computer programmer, Ada Lovelace Day celebrates women in technology and science with an international day of blogging on March 24. I didn't know about it until Tea of the lovely blog Everyday Sugar approached me about an interview! Click here to read my Q&A and find out how many stuffed animals I have on my work desk at the moment. Enjoy!

  1. LOL. Yes I remember her. I took intro to computer programming with ADA, but unfortunately failed miserably :O( Ada Lovelace must have been a genius!

  3. Just read the interview! Great stuff, it was interesting to learn more about you. I actually minored in computer science/information systems, and it can be quite fascinating, though I never got too technical or had to program much. Feel the same way about vlogs by the way... I guess I"m too impatient as well.

  4. I did a research paper on her back in the days. She is amazing and I did not know she was daughter of Lord Byron.

I started a blog that I think you might like. It combines fashion and giving back to charities. Each week, I will give away 1 designer dress (this week it’s the Pink Adelson Shift from Lilly Pulitzer Spring 2010) to one lucky follower, who raises awareness of the blog's selected charity through various ways such as tweeting about it or commenting with an interesting fact. I am currently also giving away some great Lilly stationary items too. Please check out my blog at www.shop4charity.blogspot.com because doing good is chic!

  5. Nice interview, though I don't see photographic proof of the number of stuffed animals on your desk ;P

Have a great weekend - and nice to bump into you at the H&M event - I've been so out of the Twitter loop lately and it was nice to see a friendly face!!!
