Gorgeous Brows, Simplified

2 products, 30 seconds, no extra brushes: how to get gorgeous brows the quick and easy way

Gels, powders, palettes, and brushes, oh my: The world of brow products has certainly grown since every other woman began coveting Cara Delevingne's thick arches. Choice is good, but when it comes to getting ready in the mornings I'm all about simplicity, which is why I'm a fan of these two pencils. They've made previous appearances on the blog, but I figured they deserve additional mentions since I'm using mine down to the stubs. Here's how I do my brows in under a minute.

1. I use the spoolie brush end of Lise Watier Double Definition Automatic Brow Liner ($20 at London Drugs) to brush stray hairs in place.

2. My brow shape is pretty full, but like many Asian girls I have sparse spots. I fill them in with the Lise Watier pencil in 'Chatain'—a deep, charcoal-y brown—in short, feathery strokes.

3. To make the pencil less obvious, I lightly go over the colour with the spoolie brush.

4. I go over everything with a few swipes of Givenchy Mister Fixing Pencil ($26). The clear wax is formulated with aloe and shea to add subtle gloss and fixes everything in place.

2 products, 30 seconds, and no fussing with extra brushes. It's something that can easily be added to the most minimal makeup routines and works well for travel.

What do you do for your brows?

P.S. More brow tips this way.

    1. Interesting! Just checking out the pomade now online.

I really like that the Givenchy product is a pencil; to me it seems so much simpler than fussing with a pot of product and a brush.
