Product Review: Tata Harper Aromatic Bedtime Treatment

Work, school, sleep, repeat: October's been a slog, to say the least, and between working OT on a crazy project and doing homework for my Illustrator class, I've been logging long, hermit-like hours in front of the computer. Throw a couple bouts of illness into the mix, and it's no wonder I've been suffering from bouts of insomnia. Luckily, as I noted on Instagram a couple weeks ago, Tata Harper Aromatic Bedtime Treatment ($67 at BeautyMark) has been a godsend.

Skeptical that aromatherapy can help that much? So was I, but in the 2 months I've used Tata Harper's all-natural blend of mandarin, melissa oil, clary sage, and lavender, it's helped soothe my racing mind and relieve lingering tension before bedtime. I'm a light sleeper at best and suffer frequent bouts of insomnia. But with Tata Harper Aromatic Bedtime Treatment, I fall into deep sleep faster and stay in it, and I wake up feeling much more rested and mentally refreshed.

Right before bed, I swipe the stainless steel roll-on on my temples, the pulse points on my neck, right under my nose, my palms, and the inside of my wrists. Then I rub my palms together and take 10 deep, slow breaths, inhaling and exhaling to the count of 7 each time. The tension melts away with each breath as the aromatherapy treatment envelops my senses, creating a sanctuary of scent.

The Tata Harper Aromatic Bedtime Treatment also scores points for its divine scent (so good that some fans wear it as a perfume), all-natural formula, and elegant, ultra-portable packaging. At the end of the day though, what matters most to me is that it really helps me sleep. The price is a touch high and there's only enough product in one vial to last about 2.5 months of nightly use, which is a downer. But at times like these, a good night's sleep is priceless and I am convinced this product is worth every penny I paid.

On that note, sorry for being MIA from the blog this month! We'll be back to regularly scheduled programming next week, promise.

  2. Lisa, it is so wonderful to hear that our Aromatic Bedtime Treatment has helped you so much! We totally get how people can be skeptical of aromatherapy, but then once you start using it, you quickly understand how helpful it can be! I hope that November has brought you a bit less work stress and sleeping trouble than October!
