$25 & Under Gift Guide

$25 and under gift guide round-up stocking stuffers

This round-up of affordable gifts proves that thoughtfulness doesn't have to come with a huge price tag. Consider yourself covered for Secret Santas, office coworkers, stocking stuffers, and BFF gifts.

1. This white marble toiletries bag ($19.95) is roomy and sturdy, with plenty of zippered compartments and elasticized loops to hold aromatherapy roll-ons in place.

2. I can't get enough of marled knits and salt-and-pepper patterns like these mittens ($24.50). The fact that they're fur-lined makes them that much cozier.

3. You might recognize this Stila liquid lipstick gift set ($20) from my Stila holiday 2017 post!

4. Foxes and pastel-coloured blending sponges in various sizes ($23). Enough said.

5. Add feminine flair to a workspace with this desktop calendar ($18.95).

6. Any barre babe worth her salt would never turn her nose up at grippy socks ($25).

7. Gold-and-pearl earrings ($24) lend minimalist cool to casual ensembles.

8. My BFF bought me a similar mug ($22.50) last year, and as far as gifts for tea lovers go it's pretty life-changing. The built-in stainless steel infuser and lid make steeping your fave loose-leaf blends a cinch.

9. I bought this candle ($24.50) for the same BFF mentioned in #8 and for myself. We're both pretty particular about scented candles, but its lemon-and-orange scent won over even our discerning noses. I also love the branding and how it taps into the wellness, millennial pink, and minimalism trends all at once.

10. Up-and-coming, Vancouver-based beauty brand Midnight Paloma makes natural skin and body care that features activated charcoal to gently detox. Personally I'm a fan of the grapefruit-scented Fizzy Bath Soak, which also makes for an invigorating pre-pedi foot soak (just throw a couple teaspoons into a basin of warm water). The trial trio gift set ($15 at BeautyMark) features generously sized 50 ml jars and would be a lovely gift idea for someone who likes green beauty or loves supporting local.

11. It is a truth universally acknowledged that a man or woman in possession of chapped lips in winter, must be in want of a good lip balm. That's why a set of all-natural, made-in-Canada lip butters ($22) would be a great gift for anyone.
