Best Beauty Gifts To Give & Get

Beauty gift sets from Charlotte Tilbury, Fresh Beauty, Saje, Consonant, Stila, Dior, Tata Harper, Pixi, Rocky Mountain Soap Co, Crabtree & Evelyn

The title says it all: These are the gift sets that will light up the faces of the beauty lovers on your list.

1. Pictures don't do justice to the stunning Charlotte Tilbury Naughty & Nice Magic Box ($250), which I had the pleasure of checking out IRL at a media preview recently. The drawers of the pink and rose gold box are filled with Ms. Tilbury's handpicked faves. Gift it as an advent calendar or a boxed set; the recipient will probably want to keep the box and use it to store makeup and trinkets afterward.

2. Fresh Sugar lip balms are beloved for many reasons: their melt-on-the-lips texture, their sugary scents, the delicate tints, the way the lid screws on. The Sugar Lip Beauty Box ($54) rounds up six varieties to keep lips happy year-round.

3. The Consonant Gym & Travel Deluxe Set ($149) features some of their most popular all-natural skin and body care products in convenient travel size versions, all in an adorable blue-and-white toiletry bag. It's perfect for post-barre-class grooming.

4. Saje Traveling Farmacy ($69.95) goes beyond the cult-fave Pocket Farmacy kit (which was previously reviewed here on the blog), adding Quick Study, Energy, and Sleep Well blends to the mix.

5. Rouge Dior is one of my all-time favourite lipstick formulas, which is why I was so pleased to see the Rouge Dior Mini Lipstick Set ($65) on the Sephora website. The assortment of shades features Dior's universally flattering red, 999 Matte.

6. So if the Stila liquid lipstick sets featuring three shades from this post aren't sufficient, there's also the Stila Star-Studded Eight gift set ($45). Just sayin'.

7. The Charlotte Tilbury Limited Edition Giant Magic Cream ($320) might seem like an odd gift idea initially—who would want a giant jar of face cream for Christmas? But true beauty junkies get it. I don't usually mourn the end of a beauty sample, but the day I used up my review jar of Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream was a very sad day indeed. This stuff is practically an Instagram filter for your face, plumping up skin and giving it a lit-from-within glow. My bridesmaids and I even used it to prep our skin on my wedding day!

8. For the past year or so, every time I've gone away for a road trip I've packed Tata's Daily Essentials Kit ($93 at BeautyMark) with me. This is a complete all-natural skincare routine in a box and the travel sizes hold enough product to last 3-4 weeks. It's an excellent way to introduce someone to Tata Harper, or a great gift idea for a green beauty lover who detests decanting products into tiny jars and bottles before traveling. (P.S. For more Tata Harper goodness, check out yesterday's post.)

9. An in-depth review of the Rocky Mountain Soap Co. Vanilla Candy Cane Gift Set ($40.95) is coming to the blog soon, but for now I couldn't resist including it in this round-up.

10. I've blogged a lot about Pixi in the past year, and in doing so I've fallen head over heels for their Peel & Polish exfoliant and Glow Tonic toner. The Pixi Peel & Reveal gift set ($22) bundles together deluxe travel sizes of both of these products as well as their Rose Flash Balm, which promises to moisturize, brighten, and revitalize tired skin in a flash.

11. Hubs is as big a fan of Crabtree & Evelyn's hand creams as I am: they're nicely scented without being cloying or chemical-y, absorb quickly, and don't feel greasy at all. A set like the Crabtree & Evelyn Everyday Winter Hand Collection ($55 on sale for $44 at London Drugs) lets the recipient sample a variety—including newly launched Citron & Coriander—to find their signature fragrance.
