October issue of Vancouver Fashion eZine is out!

Check out my article about Cocopunkz, a breathtakingly beautiful line of handpainted heels and sneakers by artists Miranda Pang and Ada Fu. Definitely check out their shoes; trust me when I say you're in for some serious eye candy.

While you're at it, have you ordered your anniversary print issue of VFE yet? With two years' worth of articles and photos totalling more than 200 pages of content, it's a veritable compendium of the Vancouver fashion scene.

Have a great weekend, everyone! I'll be salsa dancing, seeing a movie at the Vancouver International Film Festival, and spending time with the boy and relaxing. What's everyone else up to?

  1. Hey,

I was just sorting out my blog and wondered if you could hep me out on something I’ve been wondering about for some time…

The images on my blog even at their largest are quite small in comparison to the majority of blogs I read… I don’t understand why, is there some editing one has to do?

I mean some of the blogs have far more space and thus, the images are much larger.. I’d appreciate it if you could give me your opinion on this, thanks.

  2. Penelope, I think you have to either edit the HTML code to show the images at their true size using the height and width attributes, or host your images on a different service such as Photobucket. Good luck!

  5. Kelsey, the boy and I are going to see Kamui. It's supposed to be the best ninja movie to come out in a long time. :D

  9. Wow, those shoes are quite something. And congrats on scoring those boots! I had a similar problem two years ago when I needed something fashionable to wear in very snowy weather (I was sent to the mountains for a shoot). I actually ended up getting the weather-proof Uggs that don't look like Uggs (which are no longer made unfortunately... sigh). And glad you found a sweet boy as well! :) Hope you had a great weekend.
