Today's Outfit: Autumnal Spring

Phew! Thanks for bearing with me while I took my break last week. Although the blog hiatus was nice, I didn't get as much done on my secret project as I thought I would because I became sick. Luckily some antibiotics and rest seemed to do the trick.

The weather in Vancouver has been downright autumnal lately--damp, chilly, rainy. I wore this outfit a while ago and considered not posting it: right after I took the photos, the weather became balmier and I thought Vancouver had bid goodbye to perpetual rain for another year. However, with the recent drizzle and cold, I thought it might be worth posting after all as an example of how I dress for spring when it feels more like fall outside.
  • Top (CiCi)
  • Vest (Jacob)
  • Shorts and tights (H&M)
  • Flats (Yosi Samra via Fine Finds)
  • Wishbone earrings (Pretty Pennie)
  • Scarf (vintage)
  • Shoe clips (Aldo)
What do you like to wear when you're thinking spring and Mother Nature is thinking otherwise?

  1. Love the outfit Lisa, especially the flats - so adorable! When it's rain instead of sunshine, I wear shorts with tights too. Perfect for those chilly Spring days!

  2. I do hope you are feeling better now. The outfit is very sweet - I love the scarf - red and white playing together. Have a nice day:)

  3. love the scarf! adds such a wonderful pop of colour!

  4. cute scarf and shorts. i thought we were clear into shorts weather a few weeks ago and now i am back to wearing sweater dresses. I really hope this is a turning point b/c i can't take this cold rainy weather anymore.

  5. This is such a cheery not-quite-spring outfit! I've been living in skinny jeans and t-shirts, because most of my stuff has already been packed away in suitcases... bah!

  6. The weather has been horrible, I've been sick too..ugh. And it's June tomorrow! Cute outfit though!

  7. You're so cute! However... ugh! I would melt into a puddle if I wore that outfit here. : ) It's so hot and humid!

  8. Hehe I like your layering! I've been wearing outfits rather similar to this as well as one just cannot figure out what the weather will be like at any given moment.
