Mad for Milly

Milly has long been associated with feminine on-trend styles, and the new fall/winter merchandise that's trickling onto Shopbop is no exception. Think cozy knits, trompe l'oeil bows, and a wide-legged trouser that seems to look wonderful with everything. The colour palette of ivory, cherry red, black and charcoal is classic yet spot-on for the upcoming season. Other pieces--demure blouses, a knit poncho, knee-length dresses--are also worth perusing. Milly is completely out of my price range, but a girl can dream, can't she?

What are you looking forward to wearing this fall?

  2. Wow, I love this collection! The bow accent gives the look whimsy-I'd totally snatch up one of the blouses if I could afford it.

I wear a lot of denim day to day but for fall I think I want to invest in colored trousers, maybe in red, hot pink or teal. And I'm still on the hunt for the perfect boyfriend blazer.

  3. I've always been a fan of Milly and *sigh* sadly the price range is a bit on the high side. I LOVE those cherry red pants - I've really changed my mind about wearing red these days. Chalk it up to the mad men influence.

I can't wait to continue high waists and flares. I bought a vintage pair of high waisted bell tweed pants in the spring so will make those a staple. Jewel tones, velvet (blazer or even pants), and printed pants make me excited for the fall.

  4. Love this collection too. Particularly the wide leg red pants. But so not in my budget right now.

  5. Unusual to see the wider legs in fashion at the same time pencil cuts in jeans and leggings are all the rage. Some great looks here...
