Do you ever yearn for a perfect imagined piece of clothing in your head, only to despair of ever finding it in real life? I spotted the perfect floral skirt I've been dreaming of for months during Topshop's Festival Dressing event, which simultaneously satisfied my sartorial cravings for a full, ladylike, knee-length skirt and a traditional floral print. In a way, the floral pattern reminds me of the Topshop sundress I purchased during my first and only trip to London and wore to death, so maybe it was kismet that I would find my next floral favourite at Topshop right here at home.
For the skirt's first outing last Friday, I paired it with a denim shirt and the same sparkly J. Crew necklace you've probably seen on every other Vancouver style blog already, but which I love to bits anyway. Can you believe all the sun in these photos? It's hard to fathom considering all the rain we've had this week, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for good weather this weekend.
This is so pretty! Very Mad Men with a chambray modern twist! Adorable!
