Product Review: Estee Lauder Nutritious Rosy Prism Radiant Essence

Estee Lauder Nutritious Rosy Prism Radiant Essence

Has springing forward an hour got your energy level down? At least your skin doesn't have to show it thanks to Estee Lauder Nutritious Rosy Prism Radiant Essence ($88). This lightweight, fruity-scented, quick-absorbing serum promises to boost radiance and rosiness. The formula (which feels like the lightest of rose-coloured gels) blends pomegranate and pink peony extracts with antioxidants is supposed to revive dull, tired, sallow skin.

Estee Lauder Nutritious Rosy Prism Radiant Essence

Although it's billed as a day-or-night serum, I find Estee Lauder Nutritious Rosy Prism Radiant Essence is too light to really be effective as a night serum. While testing, I never woke up with the same hydrated fresh look that Estee Lauder's star serum, Advanced Night Repair, gave me. But it does lend a lackluster complexion some pep on early mornings when worn over toner and under sunscreen, eliminating superficial signs of dehydration and dullness. It's just the boost I need the day after I haven't exactly made the best food choices, I said yes to one too many glasses of wine, or I was too busy binge-watching Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt to clock a full 8 hours of sleep.

  1. I such a fan of serums and may have to try this one out. I love the packaging and think it's so fun and fitting for spring.
I love that you love Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt too- I had to cut myself off after 9 episodes!

    1. Fun fact: The Nutritious line actually originally launched in the Asian market, and red is a colour associated with prosperity and vitality in Chinese culture. :) But yeah, it does look very spring-like with the tulip, doesn't it?

As for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, you have a lot more willpower than I do. I've already finished them all.
