#BeautyUnited

Those of you who follow me on Instagram probably noticed I was posting from Toronto last week, and for good reason: I was in TO to celebrate the launch of Beauty United, a new blogger ambassador program between indie beauty bloggers and P&G Beauty, which represents such brands as Cover Girl, Pantene, Olay, Clairol, and Vidal Sassoon.

My entire Beauty United experience can only be described as surreal, exciting, and overwhelming. Not only did I have the good fortune of visiting Toronto for the second time this year, I was spoiled from start to finish, with car service to and from the airports and a luxurious stay at the Trump International Hotel and Tower. (Hello, rainfall shower and enormous bathtub!) As it turned out, the hotel was only a stone's throw away from the Design Exchange's Christian Louboutin exhibit, old City Hall, and The Room at The Bay. Sunday and Monday were spent exploring the sights and doing a little shopping.

Of course, the ultimate highlight was the Beauty United kickoff event on Monday night! I loved having the opportunity to mingle with beauty bloggers from across the country and talk to experts from each beauty brand, all while nibbling on the most delectable sweets from the dessert bar.

The three-hour event was jam-packed with information. Presentations from P&G's researchers and safety scientists kicked off the evening, followed by fall hair and beauty trend talks. (Think fluffy curls à la Bottega Veneta, wine-coloured lips, burgundy lids, and sleeked back ponytails.) When the presentations ended, it was time to go from station to station to learn more about the must-try products and new launches. So much fun! The evening culminated in drinks at the Trump Tower's rooftop restaurant with other out-of-town bloggers.

What you see here is just a meager sample of all the photos I took at the event. To get the full scoop on everything, check out the Beauty United photo album on my Facebook page.

Expect to see reviews of some of the goodies I walked away with on the blog. Thank you, P&G Beauty, for an unforgettable experience!
