Quoted: YSL

I'm sure many a fashionista is mourning the death of the late Yves Saint Laurent, a pioneer of fashion during the twentieth century. You can read about some of his fashion innovations, his lifelong struggle with depression, and the sense of alienation from the fashion industry that finally forced him to retire in 2002 in today's Globe and Mail here. However, I choose to remember him through the following quote. (Click here for the source.)

"The most beautiful clothes that can dress a woman are the arms of the man she loves. But for those who haven't had the fortune of finding this happiness, I am there."
