ModCloth 'Rose Tea Cafe' Apron

First off, a huge thanks to all the lovely readers who left suggestions on how to improve my improvised udon noodle soup! I'm definitely going to try making it again with chicken stock, tofu, maybe Japanese fish cakes as suggested. Cooking has turned out to be a pretty fun resolution, but you know what would make it more fun? This lovely 'Rose Tea Cafe' apron ($22.99 US) from ModCloth. I love the retro-inspired style and the details, from the rose print to the green trim to the two bows and the row of buttons. If I were to cook my recipe of the week while wearing this apron, I'd feel like the most stylish cook on earth, even if I'm not always the most competent one.

I hope you had a lovely Easter weekend! Mine was mainly spent with the boy. We had meals ranging from sushi to authentic Mexican tacos, shopped for new clothes, went salsa dancing, and as previously mentioned, attended the auto show. I'm back in the office today, but I know some of you probably have this Monday off too. What was everyone else up to? What do you have planned for today?
