Sex And The City Tour Ticket Giveaway!

I'm sure I'm not the only one who's looking forward to the release of the Sex and the City 2 movie. To celebrate, On Location Tours (the company that runs the SATC tours in NYC) is giving away a pair of tickets for their daily public tour. This prize is valued at $84 and redeemable at any time, so if you're even thinking about visiting New York in the future you should definitely enter the contest. Canadian and international readers will also be pleased to know that this giveaway is open to everyone!

Highlights of the tour include:
  • Cupcakes
  • A lot of shopping
  • Visiting the store where Charlotte bought "The Rabbit"
  • ...and a lot more!

To enter, simply do the following:
  1. Leave a comment on this post telling me whether you're a Carrie, Miranda, Samantha, or Charlotte and explain why. For example, I consider myself a Charlotte fashion-wise because I prefer classic, ladylike styles, but personality-wise I think I have some of Miranda's cynicism. If you don't have a blog or Twitter or some other way for me to contact you online, make sure you leave an email I can reach you at.
  2. For a second entry, copy and paste this into a tweet: I just entered the Sex and the City tour tix giveaway on @SoloLisa! http://sololisa.com
A winner will be chosen randomly on Friday, April 23 at 12pm.

Good luck everyone!

  2. I've been a Carrie and a Samantha for all my love life can tell.
    :)
Carrie because I always find myself living in my own-mind-produced soap operas and getting involved with the wrong guys, and Samantha because I found out that the best sex is the one you enjoy selfishly. *wink*

  3. oh man! I wish I was planning on going to NYC some time soon - this sounds like so much fun. Lar and I are super excited about SATC2. It's basically like a modern day fairytale with great clothes. So i'm all about it.

  5. I've got the demure-ness of Charlotte, the cynicism of Miranda and basically everything else is all Carrie - her inner monologue could be mine!

Alas, there is ZERO Samantha in me :P

  6. I would love to win as I'm in NY atm! I think I'm a Carrie, due to her eclectic dress sense and analytical nature.

  7. I'm now looking forward to it even more than I expected!

  8. When it comes to dressing I'm a dramatic fashion personality like Samamtha and an eclectic fashion personality like Carrie. I share Miranda's practicality when it comes to life.

  9. I have always related to Charlotte and I simply love her.
We are both brunettes, for one! :) We've both got that traditional old school value and are rather conservative. We have an exact idea of what we want out of life and will not settle for anything less. We live in this make believe world and are romantics - for us, love tops lust. We are both a little bit dumb!

  10. Personality-wise, I'm a Charlotte but waaaaaay less whiney. I'm fairly conservative and somewhat snotty (don't tell anyone).

Clothing-wise, I'm definitely a Carrie because I'm a bit more experimental with shapes and textures. But waaaaaaay less skanky because, let's face it, a lot of her wardrobe choices were in the chocha flashing territory.

The movie looks a little over the top for me. Including their new (what I call "rich bitch"), fashions. I miss the old show. Sigh.

  11. I am an all-around Charlotte in almost every way. I'm a hopeless romantic, optimistic about life and our mannerisms are scarily similar. Although, I love to write, which makes me a tad bit like Carrie. Who doesn't relate to Carrie in some way, right?

    Love this - thanks Lisa!
